During the year John and Kelly hold several events at the Old yard, Clear Heights Stables, home to John's horses.

Our main aim is to get our owners and friends together to enjoy their horses in the relaxed environment of the training yard. The events have proved to be immenseley popular allowing owners the opportunity to enjoy their passion with fellow owners and their own families and friends.

St Patrick's Day 2010

Great fun was had by all despite the rain on Saturday as we celebrated St Patrick's Day. The Event was very well supported by our owners. Our resident Leprechaun was a great success with all the children and a few of the owners.

The children joined the Leprechaun in search of his Crock of Gold and well done to Frazer Akhurst who after much searching was the finder of the Gold!!

We where royally entertained by Stephanie Potts (our racing secretary) daughters who are champion Irish dancers and provided us with a magnificent display.

Rob Harrington owner of Edgwater gave us a great display of his light foot work and rumour has it he has now applied for the troop of River Dance !!!!

A big thank you to Emma and Sally for helping on the Day and as always a big thank you to our great team in the yard.

Trophy Golf Day – Monday 23rd August 2010

We are holding a Golf Day at Kingswood Golf and Country Club and invite owners and friends to join us. We will be at the Country Club from noon to welcome you with bacon rolls and coffee/tea. Tee off will be from 1pm onwards where teams of 4 will play Stapleford. Golf will be followed by dinner served at 6:30pm and presentation of a trophy to the winning team.
