During the year John and Kelly hold several events at the Old yard, Clear Heights Stables, home to John's horses.

Our main aim is to get our owners and friends together to enjoy their horses in the relaxed environment of the training yard. The events have proved to be immenseley popular allowing owners the opportunity to enjoy their passion with fellow owners and their own families and friends.

Trophy Golf Day – Monday 23rd August 2010

We are holding a Golf Day at Kingswood Golf and Country Club and invite owners and friends to join us. We will be at the Country Club from noon to welcome you with bacon rolls and coffee/tea. Tee off will be from 1pm onwards where teams of 4 will play Stapleford. Golf will be followed by dinner served at 6:30pm and presentation of a trophy to the winning team.

2009 Events

We started the year with a St Patrick's day breakfast complete with an Irish Leprechaun, Irish dancers, and the children enjoyed a fun packed morning searching for the Leprechaun's crock of gold!!!

The Irish coffee's were a real success !!!!

Derby Day - Saturday 6th June

We all gathered for a champagne reception at the yard with owners and friends. Later we made our way to the Rubbing House, situated on Epsom Racecourse, just 2 minutes from the yard for a five course lunch and a perfect position to watch the days racing.

We held a sassy shoes competition for the ladies and best turned out tie award for the men. Owners really entered into the spirit of the event and lots of fun was had with ladies in the most beautiful shoes and the gents looking rather dapper!

Goodwood Members - Saturday 27th June

We welcomed Goodwood members for a stable tour followed by a trip to the gallops and a champagne breakfast.
